i really appreciated the ample parking space, made arrival smooth. the beer garden located at the back was nice!). i also enjoyed that the location provided a convenient base for exploring nearby attractions.
the floorboards creaked a lot, i could hear noise above. sound insulation would really improve the experience.

The room was spacious. I got a larger room than initially booked. Breakfast was fantastic , I especially enjoyed the variety of options available.
The heating was on all night in the room , but I couldn't turn it off , so the room was really hot. The room above was very noisy . I could hear creaky floorboards, disruptive.

the hotel bar closed quite early. it was 9 pm, and i expected a later closing time! also, the tv reception was not good. many channels were unavailable. i expect a better selection for the room rate. this needs to be addressed by management.

The grounds are pretty. I liked that.
The bathroom really let the room down. The shower screen needed a deep clean. the cold tap just spun around when i tried to use it! i felt the hotel has declined quite a bit since my last stay.

The bed was comfy. I booked a main lodge double room garden view. tea and coffee making facilities were also included.
The bar closed early one evening. The main hotel locked up too.

The Twin Room was impeccably clean upon arrival. Staff members were very friendly during check-in. Breakfast was enjoyable with a wide variety of options.
