“Camps Bay Retreat feels wonderfully secluded, cradled within its own nature reserve, yet it's a stroll away from Camps Bay itself. The forest spa pods, with their private hot tubs, struck me as particularly special, a place to fully disconnect. underwhelming experience at the hotel

ordinary breakfastconstant noise
the hotel looks nice at first. but, the breakfast was ordinary. the coffee tasted weak and the selection felt very limited. also, my room faced what seemed like a service area. there was constant noise from early morning, and it really disrupted the peace. a quiet room it was not,

Inconsistent Service Hampers Potential

scenic walklush gardensslow serviceunattended receptionists
The hotel's location is scenic, nestled among lush gardens. The walk to the ocean was definitely a highlight.
I encountered significant issues with service. I asked for coffee and it arrived an hour later. The receptionists seemed preoccupied with their phones, and no one assisted me with my bags at checkout.
