the hotel location on the main square was superb. the breakfast was excellent, a typical european offering with excellent quality food. staff were helpful and pleasant.

lack of hanging space existed in the bedroom, two of four hooks were broken off the hanging rail. there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. the shower tray seal was very dirty.

the hotel is centrally located on the square and a short walk to the menin gate and cloth hall museums. access to town centre restaurants is convenient. the proximity to key attractions made exploration easy.

the room had comfortable beds, however, there was no air conditioning. the bathroom was clean. soaps and shower gels were provided, however the bathroom was dark and towels were frayed.
