Location and Transport
The Llawnroc Hotel is located in Gorran Haven, 40 km from Newquay. Caerhays Castle and its gardens are about five miles away. Mevagissey, with its fishing port, shops, and restaurants, is three miles north. A taxi to-or-from the airport at Newquay or the train station at St Austell is available. The Gwineas is named after the rocks which jut out of the sea just offshore from the beach.

Guests can park in the car park at the Cove or halfway down the approach lane. The hotel can be taken over entirely for exclusive use. Flat path leads straight into reception area. Most of this stretch of Coastline is protected for the Nation by the National Trust.
