The room seemed outdated, like it needed a refresh. dust was visible on the lamps, and the shower had a lot of limescale. the water didn't drain properly in the shower either. It just pooled. i was also surprised one of the power outlets near the bed was loose and hanging out of the wall, felt unsafe.

the staff were really friendly and helpful it was nice that they seemed interested in my trip.

the room felt quite dark because of limited lighting i noticed the light was blocked by a chimney outside the window also the fridge was switched off when i left the room so my drinks weren't cold when i returned the room needed some brighter lights.

the room felt spacious and very clean. i liked that the hotel provided extra vegan breakfast options after i asked. the buffet included oat milk and jams. i got a free drink for skipping room cleaning (sustainability is important to me!).
