The Astor House provides five rooms, each featuring a private bath. Three rooms include double whirlpool tubs. Most rooms provide a gas fireplace. All rooms have Roku streaming TVs, a small refrigerator, and air conditioning. 5-G Wi-Fi is available. The London Room includes a king bed, gas fireplace, soaking tub, William Morris wallpaper, an antique maple fireplace surround and rocker, oriental rugs, and a library full of English books and British prints. The Marseilles Garden has a king bed, gas fireplace, and double whirlpool. It is decorated in moss green, coral and whitewashed wicker with an ivy-laced headboard. The Hong Kong Retreat, the largest room, has a queen bed, gas fireplace, double whirlpool, brass inlaid nightstands, a bamboo table, and oriental themed artwork. A futon provides a second sleeping area. Vienna Balconies includes a queen bed, double whirlpool, tapestry, sword display, silver goblets, jeweled sanctuary lamp, gold brocade bed curtains, marble-topped gothic dresser, gold high-back chairs, bedside glass and metal candle lamps, and a Juliette balcony. Laredo has a queen bed with feather bed pad, a gas fireplace, peeled log furniture, antique Spanish pine armoire, mission bench, ironwork table and chairs, and a Navajo rug.
Homemade Breakfast Details
A three-course homemade breakfast is served, including fresh fruit with homemade dressing and coffee. Entrees include Astor House's Quiche, signature potatoes, an open-faced breakfast sandwich with avocado, sausage, and egg, or a breakfast bowl featuring signature potatoes, diced smoked ham, eggs, sautéed veggies, and Wisconsin cheese, plus baked goods. Vegetarian, plant-based, and gluten-free diets are accommodated. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m., with alternate times available upon request.
