Starved Rock Lodge offers varied accommodations. Lodge Wing rooms feature knotty pine paneling, handcrafted furniture, a mini-fridge, a small microwave, a TV, a DVD player, a hair dryer, an ironing board, and a coffee maker. Hotel Wing rooms provide updated amenities, including a mini-fridge, microwave, TV, DVD player, hairdryer, ironing board, and coffee maker. Pioneer Cabins provide two queen-size beds. Family Pioneer Cabins offer a king bed, two full beds, and two bathrooms with stand-up showers. All rooms include complimentary toiletries.
Dining Options
The Lodge Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Trailheads offers soft pretzels, nachos, homemade fudge, and Artisan ice cream. The Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and sweet treats and sells Illinois-made wine and beer by the can or in mix-and-match 6-packs. The Back Door Lounge serves lunch and dinner and offers seasonal cocktails and craft beer.
Leisure and Entertainment
Starved Rock Lodge features a heated indoor pool, a children's pool, a hot tub, and two saunas. Live music is available on select Fridays and Saturdays on the Veranda from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Great Hall hosts entertaining and interactive shows. The Illinois Waterway Visitor Center has a Pilot House.
Location and Access
Located in Starved Rock State Park, the Lodge is near Aurora Canyon, Grand Village of the Illinois, Beehive Overlook, French Canyon, Starved Rock Lock and Dam, SRE Playland, Grand Bear Water Park, and Eagle Cliff Overlook. Central Illinois Regional Airport is 100 km away. The park features 13 miles of trails and 18 canyons.
Services & Amenities
Starved Rock Lodge offers free parking for overnight, corporate, and wedding guests, and Wi-Fi is available. Vending machines are on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Lodge and in the Great Hall. Pack & Play cribs are available for $5 per night, and rollaway beds are $10 per night. Guided hikes are available. The Gift Shop, Cafe, and Trailheads Concessions sell souvenirs. Gift baskets with treats, wine, or beer can be added to stays. The Visitor Center is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm.
