Sportsmens Lodge has four wings. The Courtyard Wing features eight rooms with antique furniture. The Presidential Suite includes a living room with a flat screen TV and two sofa beds. Rooms open into a large living room. One Standard Large room, Pura Vida has two queen beds and one bathroom, A/C, a flat screen TV, and a safe deposit box. Two Standard Regular rooms, Alegria and Fiesta, each have a queen bed, A/C, a flat screen TV, a safe deposit box and a walk-in shower. The Modern Wing offers New Contemporary Junior Suites, Hermosa and El Rey. Both rooms have a king bed, a bathtub, A/C, a flat screen TV, a safe deposit box, a hair dryer, a coffee maker, and free in-room coffee. El Rey also has a sundeck. Seven Standard Deluxe rooms, on the first floor Ilusion and Las Palmas and on the second floor Mirador, Vista del Sol, Del Mar, El Dorado and Amante, each has a king bed, a bathtub, A/C, a flat screen TV, a safe deposit box, a hair dryer, a coffee maker, and free in-room coffee. The Penthouse Suite includes a master bedroom with a king bed, a loft with an oversized bed, and a pull-out double bed in the living room. It has a 42 inch HD TV with stereo system and surround sound, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, a 6 stools private bar, and an enclosed sundeck with 2 Jacuzzi. Most rooms provide views of the Park or San Jose. In the Mansion Wing, each room has a flat screen TV with DVD player, satellite movies, state of the art A/C, and artwork. Three rooms, El Puma, El Mono and Toro Negro has a Jacuzzi while El Leopardo a walk-in shower and a kitchen. One Mansion Master Suite, El León has a king bed, a flat screen TV, a DVD Player, state of the art A/C, a large safe deposit box, a hair dryer, a coffee maker, free in-room coffee, and a Jacuzzi. One Mansion Double Suite, Oso Grande has two bedrooms (one inside the other), one king bed and one queen bed, each bedroom with flat screen TV, DVD Player, state of the art A/C, large safe deposit box, hair dryer, coffee maker, free in-room coffee, one bathroom with walk-in shower and Jacuzzi. All rooms have air-conditioning and free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.
Dining and Bar
Sportsmens Lodge features an elegant bar with TV monitors for American sporting events. The hotel is known for its social setting and American cuisine. The bar and restaurant are accessible from all four wings.
Leisure Facilities
The hotel provides a fitness center with a Body-Solid brand Universal machine with 21 different exercises, spinning bikes, a treadmill, workout benches, a full rack of bar bells, exercise mats and balls. Access is free for guests; day passes are available for $5. Continental breakfast is included in the rate. Hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM daily.

Sportsmens Lodge is in the Barrio Amón neighborhood of San José, a center for arts, culture, and nightlife, and 24 miles from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). The hotel provides transportation with insured and authorized drivers. One-way rates: Airport (SJO) to Hotel, Hotel to Airport (SJO), Hotel to Escazú, Valle del Sol Golf Course (Round Trip), Jacó Beach, Manuel Antonio Park, Arenal Volcano, Guanacaste. Airport transfers are charged per person.
