Unique Stilted Houses
Sala Lodges reunites eleven houses dating from 1956 to 1985. These traditional wooden houses are on stilts and located 8 km from Angkor. The houses range from 30 sqm to 60 sqm and include air conditioning and terraces of at least 20 sqm. Each house features a super king-size bed or twin beds, a sofa bed to accommodate up to two adults, one child up to 12 years, and one infant in an extra bed. Each house also includes furniture from India and Bodia Spa Apothecary bathroom amenities. Some houses are House Mouy is known for its distinctive triple roof and horizontal cladding, the family house boasts the largest four-sided roof on the property, the high house with A spacious terrace that overlooks the beautiful Sala Lodges, the fishmongers' house with A Private Balcony with Proximity to the Pool, the house with grey shutters with A Terrace Overlooking the Pool, the house with the horizontal cladding as one of the most photographed houses, the house with a view of the sacred tree with A Terrace Overlooking the Sacred Tree, the house with the tilted balcony as Sala Lodges' centerpiece, the honeymoon house, the hobby horse impressive from every angle, and the house with the big balcony with a terrace that is the perfect spot for catching the sunset. The Suite Lodge features two connecting bedrooms, each with a private entrance and a 55 m2 terrace.
Khmer and Global Flavors
Ma Om Restaurant offers traditional Cambodian dishes with ingredients, vegetables, and plants, from garden surrounding the houses. The menu includes Fish Amok, Tonle Sap Lake Fish Tartar, sweet and sour soup, and vegetarian Khmer dishes. There is also a hot pot with meats, seafood, and vegetables. The restaurant serves a fresh breakfast with homemade yogurt, birchermuesli, marmalade, viennoiseries, bread, croissants, fresh fruit, juice, honey from the Ratanakiri region, eggs, Bon Cafe coffee, and tea. Lunch options include Asian Gazpacho, Fish Tartar, Club Sandwich, and Mini Burger Trio. For dinner, there is grilled Tonle Sap fish with kaffir lime sauce, grilled beefsteak with red wine sauce, and Khmer curry with chicken or pork.

Sala Lodges features an infinity pool. The Sala Spa & Wellness offers massages and beauty treatments. Treatments incorporate aromatherapy products. Guests can explore the luxuriant botanical path, a walk on steep jungle paths rewarded by a sight of carvings on the river bed. The hotel also provides options for half-day professional photographers, cruises on Tonle Sap Lake, and bike tours in the countryside.
