The hotel is near the Sangke grasslands, 500 meters past Sangke town, where short horse rides are available. Guests can visit Tarzong Lake, 45 km away, or take a 1.5 to 2-hour hike to the mountain top. Basketball can be played with the monks at Labrang Monastery.
Location and Access
Nirvana Hotel, Restaurant & Bar is located in Xiahe, Gannan Tibetan, a 5-minute walk from the Labrang Monastery. It is 65 km from Gannan Xiahe Airport. Guests can take a bus from Lanzhou South bus station at 07.30, 08.30, 10.30 and 15.00 (3,5 hours). Nirvana Hotel is the cream colored building to the left and walking from the bus station will be about 20 minutes.
