excellent stay
friendly staff chocolate fountain great location
The staff was very friendly and helpful. i also loved the chocolate fountain happy hour. It was a novel and welcome surprise. the location was great. It was within easy walking distance to the city center (a real plus for exploring).
The coffee machine in the room was average.

The hotel offered an indoor heated pool and a steaming hot sauna, both were relaxing. the gym had sufficient equipment for a good workout. laundry room was located on my floor. It was easy to access.

breakfast had tasty buffet options with a nice view. the forage bar and restaurant provided delicious dinner options. the complimentary chocolate buffet daily was a treat (i especially enjoyed the dark chocolate!).

Great Experience, Was very good!
valet parking welcome chocolates extra pillows
I was very happy with the valet parking. My car was waiting for me. I found chocolates upon arrival and delicious cookies at checkout. The bed was comfortable and even had extra pillows at my request. (Plus, the walk-in shower was very convenient!)
The bathroom door didn't close completely, a minor inconvenience.

mixed feelings about the stay
the location was acceptable, close enough to the places i needed to visit.
also, i didn't realize it was that far from the main attractions. The weather wasn't great so walking up the hill twice was less than ideal (especially in the dark).

the valet parking service was convenient, and my car was ready upon checkout. i found chocolate available at check-in. the room was spacious, offering ample floor space for suitcases. the king size bed provided great comfort.
the bathroom door did not completely close. this lack of privacy was a bit of a nuisance.

the beautiful king room featured a comfortable king bed and provided a lot of floor space, great for luggage. blackout curtains ensured a restful sleep, and the room decor was pleasant. a smart tv offered limited channels, but a nespresso machine was available.

the location provided close proximity to cuba street, about a 10-15 minute walk. the harbor and museum of new zealand were also accessible, around a 20-25 minute walk. a vip elevator at the back of the building provided easy city access.

Balanced Stay Experience
modern decor soft pillows pod coffee machine loud air conditioning connecting room late room availability
The hotel offered modern and relaxing decor. The bed and pillows were soft. I appreciated the little pod coffee machine in the room. Complimentary cookies and cocoa husk tea arrived at the door daily.
The air conditioning made a significantly loud noise. I could not make it quieter. The allocated room connected to the room next door (it was not ideal). Our room was not ready until 30 minutes after standard check in time.
