Manta Ray Bay Resort features 35 rooms, each with an ocean theme. Standard Rooms include one or two queen-sized beds. Ocean View Rooms offer lagoon views and feature one or two queen-sized beds. Deluxe Ocean View Rooms have king-sized beds, private patios, and unique features like plunge pools, stone showers, or rooftop jacuzzis. Two-room suites are also available, with a king-sized bed in one room and two queen-sized beds in the other. Rooms include air conditioning, refrigerators, IDD telephones and in-room TV.
Island's Finest Restaurant
The Manta Ray Bistro, located on the Crow's Nest of the S/V Mnuw, is the island's finest restaurant with lagoon views. Guests can enjoy meals from the same menu in the Nautical Weaver Bar on the Bridge Deck or the Crow's Nest on the top deck. The resort features its own micro-brewed beer from Stone Money Brewing Company, available at the Crow's Nest Bar.
Diving and Other Activities
Manta Ray Bay Resort provides opportunities to photograph rare species such as the fire goby, leaffish, and mandarin fish. Daily dive trips offer opportunities to dive with manta rays and sharks. Guests can spend evenings watching movies on an outdoor screen. The resort has a private beach on Ma'ap island with gold sand and an emerald lagoon. Guests can spend time perfecting images with photo pros. The key fish inside the reef for fly anglers include the Blue Fin and Giant Trevally.
Location and Getting Around
Manta Ray Bay Resort is 10 km from Yap International Airport. Yap can be accessed directly by flights from Guam (GUM) and Palau (ROR). The hotel can arrange tours to witness dances and experience village life. Every village has a Men's House constructed of large logs, bamboo, and thatch where visitors from other villages can spend the night.
Diving Services
Yap Divers, located on the premises, is a PADI 5-star facility and SSI Platinum Dive Center. The dive center offers all levels of instruction and Mares and Oceanic equipment. Morning and afternoon two-tank dives are available to manta ray sites and reef and wall sites. Yap Divers has secure personal dive gear and camera storage. The dive center has three freshwater rinse tanks for dive gear and two freshwater camera rinse tanks.
