The Leathes Head is in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley, 4 miles south of Keswick. Honister Pass lies at the end of the Valley and its route over to Buttermere and Lorton. Carlisle Lake District Airport is 75 km away. Guests come off the M6 motorway at junction 40 signposted Penrith. From Keswick, guests can catch the number 78 bus service that runs down the Borrowdale Valley.
