Chillington House provides bedrooms with large comfortable beds and spacious showers. Each room includes tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, and soft towels. A ground-floor room is available with a super king-size bed (can convert to twins) and two single beds, plus a shower and a separate bath. Breakfast includes tea or fresh coffee and a buffet with organic yoghurt, granola, muesli, nuts & seeds, fresh fruit salad, freshly baked bread with homemade jams and plum compote. Other dining options can be found at a friendly pub in Chillington, serving local ales, wines, and fresh fish and locally reared meats. Meat comes from Durrants Butchers, fish from Salcombe Smokies, and free-range eggs from Happy Hens (two miles away).
Activities and Exploration
Guests can walk the coast path from East Soar car park (20 minutes away). The South West Coastal Path at Torcross is 2 miles away (accessible via the number 3 bus). Water sports are available through the Island Cruising Club, Salcombe Yacht Club, and South Sands Sailing Water sports. Milton Sands is known for views of migrating birds and rare butterflies. Other activities include visiting Overbeck's subtropical gardens, Salcombe shooting school and Salcombe Gin school.

Chillington House is the last house on the left at the end of the initial narrowing of the road, 80 km from Exeter International. Nearby landmarks include Start Point Lighthouse (0.5 km), Salcombe Harbour (7 km), Bowcombe Bridge (4.5 km), and Slapton Ley Nature Reserve (3 km). Other points of interest include The Sherman Tank Memorial Site (3 km), Gallery 5 Salcombe (6.5 km), and Slapton Sands (3.5 km). Guests can also visit Holy Trinity Church in Buckfastleigh.
