Rooms feature a Simmons Beauty Rest Pillowtop bed. Suites have a King Size bed, a sitting area, and a couch with a pull-out full-size bed. Options include Single Rooms with a Queen or King bed and Double Rooms with two Full Size or Queen Size beds. Aromatherapy bath amenities are included. The entire facility is non-smoking, and ample parking is available. Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am.

The Grille, an American Bistro Style Restaurant and Bar, serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The Grille evokes the style of a New York steak house. The Standard offers Sunday brunch from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and includes a complimentary mimosa. Lunch hours are Monday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Dinner is served Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Wednesday to Saturday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Events and Entertainment
The American Hotel hosts events, including comedy shows produced by Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club. The Royale Ballroom (1,100 sq ft) accommodates up to 100 people, featuring wrought iron windows, decorative wall panels, hardwood floors, an original gas-converted fireplace, and three flat-screen televisions. The Lennox Ballroom (1,600 sq ft) accommodates up to 100 people, showcasing bronze and beige colors, a landscape mural, crystal chandeliers, and French doors to a 200 sq ft patio. The Majestic Ballroom (over 3,500 sq ft) accommodates up to 250 guests and includes a maple wood bar, French doors, tray ceilings, and an original gas-converted fireplace. Live piano music is performed on Friday nights, and live music is performed on Saturday nights in the restaurant.
